This is Yanming bribing the right person. As it turned out, had Yanming not bribed this person into letting us get to the front of the line, we would have spent the last 3 hours of hiking in the dark down some extremely steep stairs... in the rain. But, as it was, it got dark about 5 minutes before we exited Yellow Mountain. Perfect timing.
