The bridges and hand rails throughout most of the Yellow Mountains were all made from stone and intricately designed to look like pine tree logs. It is literally astounding how much effort went into building this lengthy trail system. If this picture wasn't so bad, you would see that this bridge looks just like a huge pine tree with steps carved into it and the handrails look just like pine branches. Both were sculpted with such detail that even the bark is noticable.
