Another of the famous trees in Yellow Mountain is called Lover's Pine Tree. In the next few pictures you can see that the pine tree has a single trunk but has two trees growing from it. This symbolizes a marriage. The tradition here is to take a lock and place it on the chain around the tree and throw away the key. The lock symbolizes your relationship and as long as the lock stays on the chain, your relationship will remain in tact. You throw away the key to prevent the urge to come back and remove the lock (divorce).
