Waipi'o Valley and Waipi'o Bay

Waipi'o Beach is the 2nd most secluded beach on the Big Island. It's second only to the beach on the other side of the cliff pictured here. If you wanted, you could hike up the trail that leads to the top of that 320 meter tall cliff on the other side of this valley. Then, as you walk across the top, you'll have to cross several (at least 6) 150 meter deep gorges to reach the valley on the other side. It's a 42 kilometer round trip hike that is well worth the effort, but only if you can stay a few days in the other valley.
